A mountain range/region within the Kingdom of Squiyles (4885 era) from which trolls begin pouring out in large, slow-moving droves, straining the kingdom during its war with Binneth.
History
- Trolls are sighted moving out of the Acatlalco mountain ranges in Squiyles, reported independently by trappers and hunters in both Totezatlan and Somic; the King of Squiyles makes no public statement, and foothill farmers begin independent evacuation plans 2019-06-10.
- Continues to feed the troll migration into the wider Troll Mountains through and after the war 2019-10-07.
Unresolved
A region/city called “Acatlalco” also appears as part of Godoy’s geography in the JakeDM campaign (2023 real-world / unspecified far-future in-world date): “Godoy City, Acatlalco, Western Territories.” The two uses of the name are centuries (at least) apart in-world and on vastly different scales (a mountain range vs. a city’s administrative region) — recorded as a naming echo only, not a confirmed link.
