POST-WAR NATIONS DASH FOR LAND
Eastern and Western Territories declare themselves sovereign Binneth claims new territory north of its borders! Weeks after war borders are changing fast
NEW SOVEREIGN NATIONS
With eyes looking toward the future many citizens of the fallen Squiylian kingdom have scrambled to find new homes and declare new houses.
It seems every day there’s a new ‘noble family’ of the territories squabbling for land rights and titles.
Without a proper government, small militias belonging to various wealthy families have begun imposing a litany of new laws most of which conflicting with one another as some sort of semblance of a new government forms.
The laws seem to either be too strict or nonexistant at all, depending on who the offender is.
It is the opinion of the paper that only those who wish to live a wild-west style of living should venture into the territories for the time being.
EXPANSION
Massive movements north of the Binneth border.
There does not seem to be any additional conflicts during the movement however, as if some sort of post-war agreement has been reached to avoid additional losses during the border shifts for various nations.
Binneth has also lifted the trade blockades into the Howling Gulf and struck new deals with nations that used to have tight trade deals with Squiyles, especially those in the potato markets.
What does this mean for the future? It looks like Binneth is on the rise to be one of the worlds great powers, according to our economists here at the Gazette. Quite fortunate for them they lost very little military force during the conflicts of the past month.
CHANGE
Extensive cleanup continues in the fallen ruins of what once was Squiyles.
Empires are experiencing shifts in power dynamics as borders seem to be adjusting post war.
We certainly are living in interesting times folks. So many changes so very fast. Changelings have setup rulership through the majority of what was once Squiyles. Trolls have left the mountain tunnels and are spreading throughout the mountain ranges. Along with the trolls many dangerous beasts have been spotted in these areas.
The landscape is anything but stable out there.

WHIRLPOOL LEAVES TUNNEL BEHIND
Strange hole in gulf seems to open a portal to the unknown
TUNNEL TO HELL?
One of the strangest things leftover from the war looks to be a peculiar hole in the water.
This hole is a calm circular waterfall leading into an abyss. It has nearly no pull like a normal whirlpool. It doesn’t spin like a vortex.
Just a hole. In the middle of the water with water pouring endlessly down it.
It gives off a magical aura and shows no signs of slowing down as its gulping down the gulf!
Rugby’s Gazette reached out to a local fisherman regarding his experience visiting the tunnel in the water.
“We been on da boat here peerin’ down it… look deep ta us”
“Real deep…”
“Paulie said he thought he heard a real deep growl coming from inside”
Fascinating. If one of our readers has the gumption to go check it out, Rugby’s will pay handsomely for a detailed field report, as always.
Currently it looks as though the strange tunnel to nowhere is being avoided by traders and gawked at by tourists who have come to gawk and throw objects down it.

Rugby’s Gazette has a new home
NEW HEADQUARTERS
Amidst the crumbling cities and power grabs from various kingdoms, houses, and even street gangs.
Rugby’s Gazette had no choice but to leave its home in what was once the great Conopimalis city.
With a heavy heart we say goodbye to the old half destroyed headquarters, but look forward to the future. We have moved to the Western Territories to an island that used to be under Squiylian rule.
Thank you readers for your continued support even during troubled times.
