An android arcane caster — doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep, immune to necrotic damage, fear, aging, and mind-affecting effects (having no flesh or mind to affect in the usual sense). Casts Mage Armor, Shield, Shocking Grasp, Mirror Image, Dispel Magic, Fly, Fireball, and Magic Missile, among others. Xarthax’s proper name is never stated on mic in several sessions, and session 1 instead describes “Rich’s character” as an unnamed drow bard carrying the Aegis of Recovery, with a separate absent “Jeff’s character” as a mage-type carrying the Scabbard of Keen Edges. Whether Xarthax (who first appears by name in session 2) is meant to be a continuation of either of those session-1 characters, or an unconnected replacement, is never addressed in the transcripts 2022-12-06.
