Capital city of Cacoal, within the Kingdom of Squiyles. Site of a doppelganger infiltration panic, a dangerous orc-masked killer, and multiple Merchants Square shops advertised in the Gazette.
History
- Hosts the “Astronomy Summit” where attendees puzzle over stars vanishing from the sky 2019-04-01.
- Captain Tartan of the Ezaso City Guard first warns of doppelganger infiltration (“Trust No-one”), then a week later publicly walks the claim back as an “over exaggerated” rumor caused by “some kind of flu,” backed by the king, who threatens to jail anyone who says “doppelganger” again 2019-04-01, 2019-04-09.
- Street children are killed in a market by a six-foot, blue-skinned orcish man in a carved wooden mask who reportedly vomits swarms of spiders and howls until victims’ ears bleed — speculated (unconfirmed) to be a member of Gorthak’s army 2019-04-22.
- Merchants Square hosts recurring advertisers: Exotic Animal Companion Sales, Ziff and Zoffs (magical pranks), The Arcane Archer (spell-infused arrows), and the Moonwind Concert Hall, which hosts Bardic Illusionist Feyman Allbright 2019-04-09, 2019-04-15. Thogs Exotic Meats also trades in Ezaso, paying top dollar for dragon meat 2019-04-15.
