A magical signet ring that telepathically links wearers to a hive mind’s shared knowledge and senses, while the wearer is conscious.
History
- Taken off an unconscious intruder caught breaking into the party’s ship by Jake 2020-01-20 @ 00:01:12.
- Identified by Nutty with a natural 20 Knowledge: Arcana check 2020-01-20 @ 00:04:19.
Unresolved
Who else is connected to the hive mind, or whether they’re now aware the party has one of their members’ rings, is never addressed.
Exactly when/how the ring ends up with Nutty is unclear. The timestamp previously cited here (@ 01:01:12 in 2020-01-20) is actually an unrelated scene (the party experimenting with the ship’s planar crystal/sextant) — no “hands it to Nutty” moment was found near that timestamp, or elsewhere in the session. Nutty is the one who identifies the ring with a natural 20 Knowledge: Arcana check, which may be the source of the assumption that he kept it.
